Eggnog recipe
Ingredients:
8 Egg yolks.
1 ½ cup of Sugar.
¼ cup of Flour.
1/8 teaspoons of Salt.
6 cups of Milk.
2 cups of Light cream.
1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract.
1/8 teaspoons of Nutmeg.
1 ½ cup of Whiskey.
Preparation Instructions:
Combine sugar, flour, and salt in a saucepan. Add egg yolks and mix well.
Using a whisk, stir egg mixture and slowly fold in milk and cream.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened and coats the back of a wooden spoon.
Remove from heat and leave to cool and thicken.
When cold, stir in nutmeg, vanilla, and whiskey.
